Welcome to Salt & Seren.

After spending a decade living in the vibrant cities of China and Singapore, I found myself longing for something different—a place where life moves with the rhythm of the tides, and where nature’s beauty is woven into everyday moments. That search led me to Barmouth, a hidden gem on the Welsh coast where the mountains meet the sea.

From the very first moment I arrived, I was captivated. The strong sense of community and the breathtaking scenery were unlike anything I had ever experienced. For the first time, I felt a sense of peace and belonging that I never knew I needed. It was this feeling that inspired me to create Salt & Seren—a retreat that would allow others to experience the grounding clarity that life by the sea can bring.
